Overview

An energy management system (EMS) decides when and how stored energy is used. The REAP EMS tracks every installed system in real time, so operators can see clearly how each one is performing and get an early warning when something needs attention.

Each battery system sends its data to the platform without pause. Voltage, temperature and current are watched at the cell and rack level. This means problems can be flagged early, and maintenance is done when the system actually needs it — not just on a fixed schedule.

Operators use a single web dashboard to see how full each battery is (State-of-Charge, or SoC), its overall condition (State-of-Health, or SoH), its charge and discharge cycles, and how it has performed over time. Because the platform connects over CAN, RS485 and TCP/IP, it can link to wider control systems and report on a whole group of systems at once.
